Memphis BBQ Shop Coleslaw
This isn't your typical sweet coleslaw, it's full of flavor and has some extra spice! This is a Coleslaw my husband created after we ate at the BBQ Shop in Memphis!
- 1 medium head of cabbage washed, cored, and shredded
- 2 medium carrots peeled, grated
- 1 medium green bell pepper cored, seeded and diced fine
- 3 Serrano chiles seeded and finely chopped or two jalapeños
- 1 onion finely chopped
Coleslaw Dressing
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- scant ¼ cup dijon mustard
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp celery seed seasoning
- 1½ tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
Cut and mix all the vegetables and place in a large bowl.
Combine dressing ingredients in separate bowl.
Add the dressing to the vegetables and Bam! You are done!
